What am I up to?
This year, after returning from Brazil in mid January, I was busy with my mural projects with the schools, and preparing for the Pontiac Artists' Studio Tour in June. Again this August I invited people to visit my home studio for "2 Weekends in August". I had an interesting and exciting trip to Portland, Oregon to open my successful exhibition at Onda Arte Latina/Cross Currents Gallery entitled Muses, Music and Magic.
I am currently in Andalucia, Spain for a vacation and inspiration. When I return I will be busy in the new year with my mural projects in the schools and painting.

I have completed more than 40 mural projects in the last 4 years, seeing many new corners of Quebec. I did several more this spring which took me to Montreal, Knowlton, Drummmondville, Danville and Fort Coulonge. This year I also did a couple of projects in Ottawa and will be part of MASC's catalog of artists.
Each mural introduces me to a new aspect of this country and it's diversity.

I spent a couple of months with my family in Brazil over Christmas and New Year's. It's always nice to be home again. Brazil is a beautiful country and nice to refresh my memories and inspiration with the exotic tropicalism
- the trees and plants that burst into flower everywhere sometimes leaving an exotic carpet to walk on
- the trees that produce an abundance of fruits like papayas and Jack fruits
and the exotically addictive fragrance of the cashew.
- the architecture that revels in the heat and the tropical abundance
and the everyday food that we grew up with and fondly remember from our childhood that my mother prepared for me.
And of course I took the time to paint.
